This day will bring

Looking towards the new horizon,
Stepping forward with hope and faith.
What challenges will I face?
What paths will cross with mine?
Who will I meet? Who will I leave?
In my quest upon this planet?
My hopes, my dreams,
Will I ever achieve them -
Probably not,
But if I set my goals high,
I’ll get the next best thing.
However, that is a long way away,
But every day brings a challenge,
Something we must learn from.
So we should welcome each day,
With open arms,
And engulf in the joys,
This day will bring.
